pl. Wszyscy mnie pytaj czy się nie boję? Czy nie przeraża mnie samotna podróż? Po Riding Across Europe mogę przyznać, że samotne podróżowanie nie równa się z samotnością, bo jeżdżąc solo otwieram się na innych.. ludzie chętniej zagadują, wypytują.. nawiązują kontakt. Oczywiście mam pewne obawy jak przed każdą podróżą, ale one wiążą się raczej ze zdrowym rozsądkiem. Zresztą jak powiedział kiedyś Cesare Pavese (w wolnym tłumaczeniu): „Podróżowanie jest brutalne.  Zmusza do ufania obcym i tracenia z oczu wszystkiego, co jest nam znane, domowego komfortu czy przyjaciół. Ciągle jesteśmy rozchwiani. Nic nie jest nasze oprócz podstawowych rzeczy – powietrza, snu, marzeń, morza, nieba”…

eng. Everybody ask me –  if I’m not afraid? Does travelling alone scares me? After Riding Across Europe I can admit that traveling alone is not equal to the loneliness, because riding solo open us to the others .. people are more open, they ask questions, they make contact. Of course I have anxiety.. like before each journey, but rather I would associate it with common sense. Besides as Cesare Pavese said: „Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky…”
